Edge of Destiny

Edge of Destiny founders:
Elijah, Calum, Matt, Andy

We are four gamers from various MMO backgrounds, one of which has been playing the first Guildwars for over 4 years and the rest being completely new to the Guildwars franchise however arguably just as excited to play.

In previous games some of us founded our own guild, so we wanted to do the exact same in Guildwars2 and as we will all be playing from release and aim to be well established on our chosen server. We aim to be a very social guild, and very approachable too new players of the game and the genre.

Why Edge of Destiny?

We came up with the name Edge of Destiny after reading past blog posts by Arenanet and as we learned more about the lore behind the game and the characters and factions, we became fond of the Guild Destiny's Edge who are the guild who play a very prominent role in defeating the Elder Dragons; you will see their story unfold throughout Guildwars2. We went on to decide that with our guild name we would like to pay tribute to Destiny's Edge thus reversing the words to create our name. It also then came to our knowledge that one of the two Guildwars2 novels also shared that name, so that was evermore reason to keep it.
